About Aspire

Community, structure, and a place to be proud to call home.

Aspire Recovery Homes is an independent sober living community in Houston, founded by people in long-term recovery. We're not a treatment program and we're not a clinic — we're a real home with real structure, where the daily routines, the camaraderie, and the community do the heavy lifting.

Why I started Aspire

I've been in recovery for years, and I know firsthand how much the right environment matters after treatment. The work people do in treatment is real, and a stable, supportive home is what helps that work last. I started Aspire to add to the recovery infrastructure here in Houston — to give people one more place to land, one more shot at building the life they're working toward.

My goal is simple: contribute to the recovery community in Houston, build more housing for people who need it, and give people a second chance in an environment where they can do the work alongside others doing the same. That's it. Houston has incredible treatment programs and incredible sober livings already — I just want to add to what's here.

What I love most about this work is the camaraderie. Watching a new resident come in scared and isolated, and 90 days later they're holding the door open for the next person walking in — that's recovery. That's what we're building at Aspire, one resident at a time.

What Aspire is (and isn't)

Aspire is a structured sober living community. We're not a treatment center, we don't provide therapy, and we don't do clinical care. What we do is provide the environment — safe, sober, accountable, community-driven — where the work of recovery actually sticks.

We work with all reputable treatment programs in the Houston area. Many of our residents attend partial hospitalization (PHP) or intensive outpatient (IOP) during the day and come home to Aspire at night. Others have finished treatment and use sober living as their step-down into independent life. Some come straight from detox or jail. We meet people where they are.

What makes us different

  • Founded by people in recovery. Aspire is run by people who've done the work themselves and understand what residents are going through.
  • Modern, well-kept homes. New 2025 construction in Northside Houston. The kind of place you'd be proud to bring your family to.
  • Small on purpose. We keep census low so residents get attention and house managers actually know everyone's name.
  • Community and accountability. Shared meetings, shared accountability, real friendships. The relationships you build here protect your recovery long-term.
  • Open to all programs. We work with every reputable Houston treatment program and we accept residents coming from any of them.

Our values

  • Honesty over comfort. Recovery requires telling the truth, especially when it's hard.
  • Accountability with dignity. Rules matter, but so does treating every resident like an adult.
  • Community over isolation. Addiction thrives in isolation. Everything about Aspire pushes residents toward connection.
  • The right length is what works. Some stay 90 days, some stay over a year. There's no fixed length.
