Our Program

Structure that protects your recovery.

Aspire is a structured sober living community. We're not a treatment program and we don't do clinical care — we provide the environment, the rules, the routines, and the community that make recovery stick.

What residents do every day

Aspire is structured around the principle that recovery happens in real life. Residents work, attend outpatient treatment with the program of their choice, go to meetings, and live in community. The program is the environment, not a curriculum.

Daily expectations

  • Be productive. Every resident is expected to be working, in school, in outpatient treatment, or actively job-searching — usually some combination.
  • Attend meetings. Minimum of three 12-step meetings per week (AA, NA, CMA, or equivalent). New residents often go to 90-in-90.
  • Get a sponsor. Required within 30 days. We help connect new residents with sponsors in the Houston recovery community.
  • Contribute to the home. Weekly chores, keeping common spaces clean, respecting other residents.

House rules

  • No drugs or alcohol. Zero tolerance. A positive test or use means immediate discharge with a safe handoff.
  • Random testing. Drug and alcohol screening at intake, randomly throughout your stay, and on demand by house management.
  • Curfew. 10pm Sunday through Thursday, 12am Friday and Saturday. New residents earn extensions over time.
  • Overnight passes. Not allowed for the first 30 days. After that, approved by house management on a case-by-case basis.
  • Weekly house meeting. Mandatory. Resident-led, focused on accountability, conflict resolution, and community building.
  • No guests in bedrooms. Common areas only. No overnight guests, period.

The three phases of Aspire

Phase 1 — Foundation (first 30 days)

New residents get the most structure. Earlier curfew, no overnight passes, daily check-ins with the house manager, mandatory 90-in-90 meeting attendance, and a written recovery plan. The first month is about settling in, building routines, and establishing trust.

Phase 2 — Growth (months 2–6)

Once trust is established, residents earn more autonomy. Standard curfew, overnight passes available on approval, expanded freedom for work and family obligations. Continued meeting attendance, sponsorship, and weekly house meetings.

Phase 3 — Independence (months 6+)

Senior residents take on mentorship roles for newer residents, lead house meetings, and begin transitioning toward independent living. Some choose to stay long-term as anchor members of the community.

Who we partner with

We work with every reputable outpatient treatment program in the Houston area. We don't require residents to use any specific program. Many residents attend partial hospitalization (PHP) or intensive outpatient (IOP) and come home to Aspire at night. Others step down from residential treatment. Others come in already attending a Structured Outpatient (SOP) or aftercare track. We coordinate with your treatment team and your schedule.

What we don't do

Aspire is not a treatment program. We don't provide therapy, group counseling, medical care, or psychiatric services. We don't prescribe medication. If you need clinical treatment, we'll help you find the right outpatient provider and you can live with us while you do it.

Rates and admissions

Weekly rates vary by home and room type. Most residents pay weekly or monthly through self-pay. We do not bill insurance for sober living. Call or text 713-766-1127 for current rates and availability.
