IOP + Housing
Attend a Houston-area Intensive Outpatient Program around your work or school schedule, and come home to a structured sober living residence at Aspire. Real life, real treatment, real support.
If you're ready to work or go to school but need both clinical treatment and a safe place to live, IOP with housing is the answer. Attend an Intensive Outpatient Program in the Houston area on your schedule — mornings, evenings, or weekends — and come home to Aspire's structured sober living the rest of the time.
IOP is designed for people who can manage outpatient life. But many clients can't go back to a safe environment when IOP isn't in session. Pairing IOP with structured sober housing solves that — you get the clinical work plus the environmental support to actually apply what you learn.
We work with every reputable IOP in the Houston area. Our closest partnership is with Altura Recovery & Wellness in Bellaire — they run IOP that fits around work, school, or family schedules and pairs seamlessly with Aspire. We'll happily coordinate with any other Houston IOP you choose.

IOP (Intensive Outpatient Program) is typically 9–12 hours of clinical addiction treatment per week, designed to allow clients to work or go to school. IOP with housing means you attend IOP clinical sessions while living in a structured sober living residence.
IOP gives you the clinical work — group therapy, individual counseling, education. Sober living gives you the environment — accountability, peers, structure, drug testing — that makes IOP actually work. Without structured housing, many IOP clients return to environments where the new skills can't take root.
Yes. IOP is specifically designed to fit around work or school. Most Aspire residents in IOP work full-time during the day and attend IOP in the evenings, or work part-time and attend morning IOP sessions.
